The national flag of Cameroon, adopted on 20 May 1975, is a tricolor. It is composed of three straight bars: green, red and yellow. There is a yellow star in it. The size of the star is not specified, so it is different. The national flag is a rectangle with a ratio of 3:2. From left to right by green, red, yellow three parallel equal vertical rectangular composition, the red part in the middle of a yellow five-pointed star. Green symbolizes tropical plants in the southern equatorial rainforest, and also symbolizes people's hope for a happy future.
